Mr Constatine Bwambale who has been serving as the chairman of the recognition Council has been appointed as Omulerembera (Prime Minister of the Rwenzururu Kingdom).
The appointment was made on June 3, 2009 and confirmed on The Rt Honourable Constatine Bwambale at a meeting of the Obusinga Executive Committee Recognition Council at Buhikira Royal Palace, Kasese.

After Nyamutswa obusinga Bwa Rwenzururu was again spearheaded by Omusinga Isaya Mukirania Kibanzanga I as an overall human ruler of the Mountains. He ruled from June 30, 1962 to September 2, 1966 with Samwiri Mukirania as a Prime Minister. His son Prince Charles Mumbere Irema-Ngoma was crowned king in place of his father on October 19, 1966 with Yolamu Mulima as his Prime Minister who ws later replaced by Yeremiya Muhongya.

The King’s Council During his 1998/99 visit Omusinga Mumbere Irema-Ngoma put in place a council to spearhead negotiations with the government of Uganda for the restoration of Obusinga Bwa Rwenzururu. This council is referred to as Rewenzururu Kingdom Recognition Council. Although its members are appointed by the Omusinga himself, they serve as People’s Representatives. After celebrating the 41 anniversary of the coronation on October 19, 2007, the Rwenzururu monarch, Omusinga Charles Wesley Mumbere Iremangoma announced a reshuffle of the members of his council on November 30, 2007 and officially inaugurated it at Buhikira royal palace on March 9, 2008.
